Seeking CFO with extra energy

We are looking for an experienced Chief Financial Officer to assist with the implementation of our expansion strategy. With the global shift to renewable resources, more customers need our batteries in greater volume than ever before and SEC is ready to meet the rapidly growing demand for our energy storage solutions.

You’ll be working closely with our CEO and Executive Chairman to leverage years of successful partnerships in SEC’s known territories and facilitate the formation of new partnership models by designing financial strategies to penetrate fresh territories.

Our new Chief Financial Officer will have strong experience in manufacturing based business and needs to have a very strong understanding of international trade. They shall also have some experience with SAP type roll out. You’ll need to be confident dealing with a variety of stakeholders. From Government, right down to community and industrial partners.

Further to this, SEC sources materials, manufacturing and assembly services in multiple countries. Managing our finances in a time of explosive growth will provide the right applicant an exciting challenge and the opportunity to be onboard with a respected industry leader in a rapidly growing field.

Responsibilities

Work with the CEO and Chairman to supervise the Sales and Engineering departments as they implement a plan for strategic growth.

Control the cashflow position throughout the company, augment current processes with new accounting procedures and policies.

Understand the company’s business model to translate operational metrics into performance measures

Maintain premium lines of communication with all stakeholders, banks, investment advisors, shareholders and outside analysts.

Develop financial strategies by forecasting capital, facilities, and staff requirements; identifying monetary resources; controlling liability and developing action plans.

Supervise all controllers, treasurers, accountants etc. to ensure efficient work progress and the automation of document control.

Perform risk management by regularly analysing all of the organisation’s liabilities and investments.

Control and evaluate the organisation’s fundraising plans and capital structure

Analyse operations; identifying opportunities for improvement, cost reduction, and systems enhancement.

Ensure regulatory compliance. Learn the regulations relevant to our business in multiple jurisdictions and stay up to date on new regulations


Experience and skills

Five years experience as Chief Financial Officer, manufacturing sector preferred.

Excellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting methods.

Knowledge of corporate financial law, financial and risk management practices and procedures.

Creative strategic thinking plus strong leadership and organisational skills.

Qualified CPA with an MA/MS in Accounting or Finance.
